Our History
From the very beginning, our highest priorities have been using quality products, providing quality design and installation, commitment to our customer’s satisfaction, and excellent service!
Our first company started in central Illinois in 1962 (Contractor Services of Illinois) which was locally owned, operated, and founded by Charles Walder. It has since grown into the area’s premier supplier and installer for Vacuflo Central Vacuums and custom closet organizers by Closet Concepts. CSI also sells and installs custom designed shower glass, shower doors, and mirrors, as well as, bath accessories including popular lines of Moen and Delta for both residential and commercial projects.
2008
In 2008, CSI was purchased by RH Company. CSI began manufacturing custom-designed laminate systems in our own warehouse and added machinery for cutting and polishing custom-sized mirrors. Also, we added a new product line of storefront glass. CSI continues to provide our products and services to the greater Peoria, Springfield, and Bloomington areas.
2012
In 2012, we expanded to northern Illinois and purchased SCE Unlimited where we continued to offer the same product lines. This expansion gave us more experience in high volume sales and installation and allowed us to gain more knowledge in customized glass and laminate systems. The Chicago area has supported SCE Unlimited for many years, and we are grateful to be a part of this community.
2018
In 2018, Contractor Services of Colorado was established. CSC offers shelving, glass, and other high-quality products to builders and homeowners at a competitive price that is made possible by the combined volume of our three locations. We are looking forward to planting roots and providing products and services that will benefit local builders and homeowners in the Tri-Lakes and Colorado Springs areas.

Our experienced sales and installation staff work with our customers from the initial planning and design stages to the final completion of our clients’ projects.
